This semester for my Sociology class we have the magnificent pleasure of learning about drugs used and abused in the United States and/or around the world. The project is to study the drug intensively, write a research paper, conduct an interview, to then later write a creative piece about the drug chosen. The essential question to guide each student on this project is; "why do people do what they do?" First of all the question is vague as it is. Which is why it is so important to contact people who may know about drugs. I have chosen to do Rohypnol, the date rape drug.

Social Experiments
This project was about creating a social experiment to test in our community. In order to have proof we taped the experiments.
The first experiment we did was: Nathaniel walking around behind people with a newspaper that had holes at the eye level to see how people would react. Would they be scared? Happy? The rest of my group watched as Nathaniel would walk around trying to torment people. This video is a good way for anyone to see how creepy he looked.
The second experiment included JeRevien and Noelle walking around with their heads being covered my paper bags, holding hands, and skipping around the Target parking lot. They both looked like they were having fun while the people in the parking lot were a little scared and did not know what was going on. Our purpose was to see how people reacted to happiness and having a paper bag as a new face.
